Keating Chunts. No surprise. All athletes (particularly the sprinters) have the Lance Armstrong view of "you can't win unless you drug up".

Wonder how long before Usain Bolt gets caught?

Americans and Americaniseds more than most, though, I'd say. No stats to back it up, but there seems to be plenty o' drug scandals from their direction.

Don't think so, and Gay's comments were pretty decent. Anyway, Powell, Veronica Campbell Brown, doesn't just seem it's the Seppos.

Well, let's wait and see what the offences were, there's a difference between systematic steroid abuse and accidentally taking a minor banned stimulant through a "supplement" that you had been advised was OK... there have been batches of positive tests for things that nobody would take intentionally and hope to get away with before! Will be interesting to see if these cases are linked anyway.

Much as I hope the likes of Bolt are genuine, it does seem questionable that the men's short sprints are the only events where world records have consistently been lowered over the last decade or two.

Oh no, there's no cheating in the Caribbean, the Americans must juice just because that want to be close to the supreme performance of the Jamaicans!

It's a given.

As long as it isn't revealed that Eric the Eel could swim all along and was only pretending to drown for the magazine deals - then I'd be disillusioned.

It could be put down to being frustrated at being left in Bolt's wake for years.

If Bolt is found to be taking banned substances then sprinting is REALLY in crisis. But still, these guys make a good living despite constantly being the bridesmaids throughout their careers. Why risk complete ruin, shame, and humiliation?
