Haven't a clue about the overseas bowler - but they reckon it's sewn up for the first few months of the season. Some yokel was chucking in Jackson Bird as the name - but I don't see it.

Bird has only just started net bowling again after his second bout of stress fractures. Probably won't be bowling for Tasmania until December at the earliest so i doubt if he is in the frame for County cricket.

Wouldn't April/May be the perfect time to be playing some competitive cricket to get yourself fully sorted for the next season/Test matches?
