In Midge's Test at Perth in Ashes 10-11, we got Collingwood on the last ball of Day 3 then took the final 5 wickets before Lunch on Day 4. Still looking.

Thanks God Johnson's one traditional good spell per series coincides with England's one traditional awful test per series.

Aus took the first 6 wickets for 72 in the 1st session of T4 in the 2009 Ashes in England. We won that Test in a canter by an innings. This was Gump's 1st Test of the series. He took 3 of the pre-Lunch wickets and I was cursing that qunt Hildick for not picking the big Spiv in the Test XI earlier in the series.

FFS, play a shot at these short balls!!!! The alternative is a broken finger, or getting out. Perhaps both.

Truth be known, it's been a very piss-weak batting effort by all but Haddit, Midge and maybe Carbs.

Some balls being shown by Sturat to a fired up Midge. A bit lucky there, after a shoulder edge hit him in the helmet and fell safe.

Horrie doesn't like him, so of course he's going to be the one guy showing some guts.

I like the way Sturat plays. He gives it, but can also take it. And all the bullshit about him not walking is just so much series advertising. Well done him to get a 6-fer as a big "fark you" to the crowds.

And Trembles goes to Rhino. 9-fer.

It's also becoming clear that Broad is the the only England player who felt determined to prove something in this test. The rest have been complacent knobs.
