I barely ventured out at all to be honest, one trip to Cape Town, one to PE but just for the test match and the occasional trip to Knysna. Other than that I pretty much just worked a little bit and farked around on the beach for 17 months.taipan wrote:Maybe not Plett, but the surrounding area is still pretty Afrikaans.

not SA I know but Malawi is closish...they are about to have their election...my friends who are still there reckon Pres Banda will be elected but the floor of the parliament will be like the 52 pick up card game... There are over 70 registered political parties and their platforms are very similar...it is just personality politics at its worst
