I remember the story. didn't think it was Pringle though - thought it was more recent than that.
Taypodge did it before a T20 at the WACA and they pulled Pomers out of the crowd to whack a couple of 6s

I do remember that Hodge incident now. He probably hadn't put his pants on without his mother's assistance previously.
I suspect Pringle, perhaps the more substantial cricketer, managed to do something very similar, years earlier.

hardly the most competitive test team we have ever out on the park...still, I s'pose it could have included Bailey, Doh, No Show, reeks and phews

Very wise words, h. I was stoked to see that Warner was fit (never thought I'd say that) just to keep Con out.

I have mixed feelings about Mitchell Marsh making his test debut. I consider him a player with a huge amount of talent but he currently has a FC batting average of 28. Admittedly 56 wickets @ 26 have helped his selection. Every time Marsh plays a first class match I look up the scoreboard hoping to see a substantial contribution from him but he continually disappoints. I would have liked to have seen him scoring heavily in Sheffield Shield matches before being selected in tests. I get the feeling that he is yet to find that balance between attack & defense that would enable him to build an innings at FC level. It would appear that he has been chosen on limited overs form which is a little bit strange. I'm just hoping he is ready to perform. He could become an important member of the team.

He didn't bowl a single ball against Pakistan A. You wonder if he's even fully fit.

I worry that Puddle is as fragile as his big bro, and Twatto. Sadly, I can't see him having a long and successful Test career. I hope I'm wrong.

LOL
Hafeez tries a review on a ball that was hitting middle stump about twelve inches off the ground.
What a waste!
