There are enough quicks around and a host of keepers to replace haddit...we need to persst with the young leggies and move Elmer on...shirley he has gone Fudd for the last time...the problem is with the batting and particularly the technique of the younger bats...Players like Maddinson are a case in point...plays with hard hands and likes a bit of bounce...do not fancy many of the younger brigade

especially on dust bowls in the subicon and the middle east...and apparently the long range weather forecast for England suggests drought and the inevitable bunsen burners

So hope we lose the first test against India and force some generational change?

Our spinners were rubbish, Haddin was both awful and disinterested....as for our batsmen, Marsh and Bailey II showed nothing and the skip is out of form...Australia's bellard never looked assured even in the 2nd dig.
summary - too many Tasmanians and spivs in this team...the lowlight was the pre game commentary from Elmer talking up his bowling partnership with sok...the frightening thought is that No Show may get a go in the 2nd test
Who else is there?

Who's Bailey II? Doolan? Think Doolan looks all class, but he's a bit inside out with his pick-up. I prefer Bailey though, who's pretty tight. Don't think he was given enough of a chance.
Who else is there, though?
Aus have got enough bowlers to run through fatted up shambles of a batting line-up, but who has really proven themselves as batsmen. ATM, you've got Warner, who seems to keep performing despite his cobbled together roob technique. Chris Rogers is adept and Clarke is a proven batsman of calibre. But none of them are particularly consistent.

Or Silk, maybe. Even Cowan on the low slow wickets.

good grief...the toxics produce a dire lot of candidates both for for their "state" side and the national team...shocked that you did not suggest Rainbird, Paine and Cozzy (if he moved back via sole occupancy of a live sheep export container ship)

Given the results so far, i don't think we could do any worse. Apart from Warner, everyone else was found to be wanting.
