Re: Right, it's like this (Game of Thrones) II
There’s quite a detailed market on who will die during the series. And who will end up winning. Although I’m not sure what happens if Bran = Night King.

Yeah, I picked out some classic episodes to re-watch finishing with the season 7 finale today. Hope it all lives up to the build-up - I’m sure it won’t disappoint in terms of spectacle, at least.

Yeah, pretty good ep.
No gruesome action but plenty of groundwork for heaps of action to come.

Re: Right, it's like this (Game of Thrones) II
S08E01.
- Spoiler:
- Jon and Daeny arrive at Winterfell with their army, to much skepticism from the North, and much chagrin about him bending the knee.
Theon rescues Yarra and gets a headbutt for initially abandoning her. She orders her remaining men to return to the Iron Islands to give the North somewhere to flee to in the event of carnage against the Night King. She accepts that Theon wants to go to Winterfell to fight.
Sansa says Tyrion is an idiot for believing Cersei is sending an army. She really is as smart as Jon thinks.
Arya is delighted to be reunited with big "brother" Jon, who is equally happy. Arya asks Gentry to make her a spear with a dragon-glass head.
Jon rides a dragon for the first time.
Cersei is not happy that no elephants came with the Golden Company. But she bonks Euron anyway as a reward for him ferrying the Golden Company to Kings Landing. Bronn is given a pile of gold and a special crossbow to kill Tyrion and Jaime. Can't see him doing that.
Sam meets Daeny and is gutted to find that his father and brother stood against her and were fried.
Sam reveals to Jon that he is really Aegon Targayren, so he's been bonking his Aunt. Jon is shocked and disbelieving. Wonder what Daeny's reaction will be.
Up north, south of the fallen Wall, the Night's Watch (including Tormund, Beric and Ed) regroup but find a nasty warning from the Night King in the form of slain young Lord Umber, pinned to the wall among a swirl pattern of severed arms and legs. He scares the shit out of the group when he zombie-screams. Beric burns him.
Finally, Jaime arrives at Winterfell. He is shocked to see wheelchair bound Bran, who he crippled by chucking him out of a tower in season 1.

Loved the look on the dragons face when Jon & Daeny were having a canoodle in the snow.

Re: Right, it's like this (Game of Thrones) II
Agree with most of those names... think Theon’s been set up for a heroic demise as well.
Expect the Hound and Jaime to survive as they have unfinished business in King’s Landing. If a Stark, Lannister or Targaryen has to go (they surely can’t all make it to episode 6?) then maybe Bran will have served his purpose and sacrifice himself to defeat the Night King, he won’t be quite so crucial in taking on Cersei. Arya’s going to put herself in danger as well and the scene with Gendry perhaps suggests one or both are for the chop, but I think she’s got plenty more mileage to her story, with the faces etc. (disappointed not to see her use the Littlefinger mask, but there’s still time I suppose!)
