I've got a feeling India won't win this one.

South Africa 438/4, India 96/2 off 16 overs so basically we've won. Burn a few effigies.

The big moral triumph is that you kept Faf to a strike rate of under 120.
Suck THAT up, you foreign visitors!

Almost half way there.

No, but we are in a position to avoid the follow and then the draw is just a matter of when than if.PeterCS wrote:Have India declared yet?

But I do declare. What a delightful evening this is.
I'm surprised Taipan can show his face here. The embarassment must be killing him.

De Villiers MOTS and de kock MOTM but apparently the latter not picked for the tests. Instead they're opting for a thirty year old Vilas.

Red, there is no apparently about it. The squads were picked a couple of months ago.

I know but the comment was meant to be laced with a bit of sarcasm. I didn't agree then and don't agree now.

Here's nothing to stop them adding de Kock to the test squad. It's not like a World Cup where you have a maximum amount of players allowed in the squad.

Except stuffing up team morale.

Hasn't team morale been affected enough already in the past by them not picking the best possible players available? He'd be in contention as a specialist batsman, not just a keeper. Sooner or later they will have to accept that de Kock is the keeper/batsman they need to invest time and patience in, as he's clearly the most likely to fill the hole left by Boucher.
Nothing against Vilas, but he's nothing more than a stop-gap.

Also nothing against Vilas but he is a manufactured keeper. The whole selection was knee jerk and as soon as it was made de Kock ran back into form. Sheer stupidity.Henry wrote:Hasn't team morale been affected enough already in the past by them not picking the best possible players available?
