They're likely to fall well short, but this is some partnership between Shafiq and Sarfaraz. Must say that this has been a rather enjoyable series, turgid batting notwithstanding.

Closer already than expected, and another Test moving towards a decision on day 5 (would already be a draw under the planned shift to 4 days).

Can the last 5 wickets scrape 119 runs together? I'm going for Pakistan here, although I'm superstitiously concerned that my support added onto JGKs big woof two days ago dooms them irretrievably.

What a fantastic turnaround and series. Chandimal definitely has to stay on as captain. Shown more in 2 matches than Mathews did in 2 years.

Collapses in each of their second innings is worrisome, but they at least showed that they could bat for long periods in each of the first innings.
