I think the appointment of Simon Katich as WA coach would be an outstanding move. It could even reduce this forum's repetitive background whining and increase its net sanity.
Campbell has reasonable credentials as well.

Cowan is indeed admirable; on that we can agree. His main concern with NSW was never Katich.
Clarke was and remains the narcissistic individualist deserving of hour scorn; Katich was a fine team player even on one leg.
