Warner gets the first 50 by an Aus opener since Harris (79) v India in Sydney in Jan this year.

Grub gets out to a loose shot off the 16 year old but gets a no ball reprieve.

Borefest. Pakistan so noncompetitive as usual on our shores.
Business as usual too for Warner after returning to his favourite roads. Wish Australia would prepare some decks which gave bowlers a chance beyond the first couple of overs.
The England tests were great.
Smith will cash in big time here.

Seemingly so, in recent years. Remember the bouncer story? (and no, he hasn’t turned to short-pitched pace bowling...) Sadly I think it’s been part of the personal issues that derailed his career.skully wrote:beamer wrote:Panesar’s playing for you? Is he pissed?

True. I'm hanging out for the Snoozers.

Agree with all comments above.. gcspoc was kissed on the arse caught off a no ball and bowled but the bail was not dislodged.
The media outpouring is as disgusting as the poc himself. Pity Burns did not get a ton.
The real story is the Gabba has become a road. I despair for Test cricket on our grounds

Not buying the Gabba being a road, Aus showed if you put the Ball in right spot you will get rewarded.

We bowled better, no doubt. The Stannies openers got through the first session on D1 without the ball doing much. Cummins bowled well

Hard to argue, Bas.
You'd think by now that Kookaburra would've waken up and put a slightly prouder seam on the ball (ala Duke).

Aye, and the Wackies bowled very poorly. Far too much short and wide stuff.
