Yep, they were told to stay in Canberra (as if lock-down isn't bad enough)

Huh? What about this time?
The blatantly deliberate wide to deny Vince.
Vorgan getting his pots and kettles mixed up a tad it seems....or maybe he's just too young to remember England and then current WSC World Captain Tony Greig bringing himself on to bowl for the first time in the innings, with scores level, and putting his first ball between gully and the square leg umpire for four byes to end the last Supertest in Australia in Feb 1979, denying Ian Chappell the chance to hit the winning runs. But he would have had a keen eye on Andy 'Giggles' Caddick handing Australia Ashes 2001 by bowling a no-ball from about 14 meters in similar circumstances to Greig (side issue: why wasn't the Vorgster playing? He missed that entire series, after debuting two years earlier and making a ton in England's last Test before the Ashes)

I didn't see it. The only ones I see getting "exercised" at all in Pomgolia about the Big Bishop Bash are those with a professional (or rather, unprofessional) dog in the fight and skin in the game. Like the very worst of the commentators and gutter press hacks.
True, some Brexity types will fly off the handle about anything at all - even about a fly flying off a handle. But that's essentially to get away from thinking honestly about themselves.

Re: Embee's Tower of BaBeL
Meanwhile, I wonder if there is a place for a competition called something like The Long Contemplative Game, as an antidote to the Big Bashy Bish Bosh and its counterparts around the globe, The Death by 100 Cuts, for example.
Franchises might be allowed, if they were for (genuinely) charitable purposes only.
Team names I'd suggest, to give a flavour of the health-restoring nature of such a new competition:
The Perth Philosophers
The Melbourne Meditators
The New South Wellness
The Brisbane Back Therapists
The Hobart Holistic Healers
The Western Wisemen
Amateurs representing safe, slower-pace vocations might also be invited:
The Queensland Copy Editors
The Adelaide Architects
The NT Town Planners
The Sydney Statisticians
The ACT Actuaries
The PNG Pharmacists
The Victoria Vehicle Inspectors
The Tasmanian Travel Agents
The Christmas Island Craftbrewers
Well, it's a thought. The games could stretch out in leisurely fashion over 2 or three weeks.

Capacity cap at the SCG for the Big Wank final upped to 75%, after tickets at the 50% cap level sold out in 1 hour.

What is the record score in a T10?
I'm sure skully will know.

Two newspapers in Manchester, reported on News website and seeing as Murdock's owns most of the newspapers in the Western world, unless Vince is from up that way?

Re: Embee's Tower of BaBeL
Lynnsanity has a 30 ball 91
Pooran scored 89 off 26 balls a couple of days ago and was given out on a catch that bounced
Lynnsanity also has an 89
2/183 might still be the highest score
George Garton's 0/48 off two overs is equal most expensive spell = he bowled at Pooran

Nah, ripped off > 20 runs by the rain. We'll never get to find out who was going to bowl the 20th over for Brisbane.

Heat melting.
Sixers v Scrunchies (a rare thumbs up to horrie) at the SCG with a 75% crowd capacity.
Scorchers didn't miss Roy.

It's been an awful game for horrie - Bancroft, Marsh, and WA all tasting some success.
Q'Billies and boof losing is some sort of compensation I guess.

What? I did not even watch this tosh.
I thought Bannedcroft had 'retired'.
Who is "Roy"? Surely Symonds has not come out of retirement.
Does Bruce Francis play for the Sydney Sickos?
