... but I’ll play along.

‘Roy’ is Jason Roy, an object of affection or perhaps homoerotic lust for the MIA Trevor Mudge and our esteemed former warden, Jay Dello, the Creator in (apparently) 6 days of this alleged Provisional Paradise.

I didn't see it. The only ones I see getting "exercised" at all in Pomgolia about the Big Bishop Bash are those with a professional (or rather, unprofessional) dog in the fight and skin in the game. Like the very worst of the commentators and gutter press hacks.

True, some Brexity types will fly off the handle about anything at all - even about a fly flying off a handle. But that's essentially to get away from thinking honestly about themselves.

Two newspapers in Manchester, reported on News website and seeing as Murdock's owns most of the newspapers in the Western world, unless Vince is from up that way?

The plot thickens.

Vince is very "South Coast" (born Sussex, plays Hampshire), Manc is NW England.

A quick Google News search brought up (I checked three pages of hits - enough) screeches of outrage from the Daily Mail and the Daily Telegraph. -> See my note on "Brexity types" above:

The Diarrhoerly Mule - in any area remotely political - serves up a daily diet of rabies for the most self-righteously narrow-minded of the nation's middle classes. (Note: enjoying still very substantial circulation, despite the slump across the board, which is a sort of comment on the state of the country. True, they hand out tons of free copies at airports etc, which must be a ruse in jeopardy at the mo.)

The tax-skipping Barclay Bros' organ is a formerly august Conservative newspaper that they've dragged down - again, its Sport section is fine, quizzes etc too, and they have a fine, astute and witty political sketchwriter, but I mean anything else that is remotely political - to the muckspreading dogwhistling hue-and-cry-calling gutter, disguised as a quality. (Examples available on request.)

Both dogs bayed for Brexit. And its hacks will immediately bay (supposedly) for Britain, on any sort of a signal from their editor, editor-in-chief or owner.

So, in both cases, it appears no Murdoch puppetry involved. Maybe Rupe would go easier on the wide and whirling Tye/Aussies in general. If only for sentimental reasons.

Just heard on the news the Sickos had a comfortable win over the Scrunchies. The top scorers from each team are English.

Mitch Marsh failed. For some reason his brother was not selected.

Well yes, I guess. Would have been nice embee had his Scrunchies won. He is the keenest of all of us on T20. He may have found a mate in Coverpoint.

Scorchers lost it at the bat flip ...which they won

Vince obviously loves our bowlers

All Scorchers wickets were from trying to force shots and scoreboard pressure

Disappointing result ...but it means we are back to the real cricket ....which will again lead to more disappointing results

Sledge of the night was the crowd member who told Livingstone 'if you were any good you'd be in India'

Equivalent of the AFL starting the season with Bulldogs and Port at Ballarat ( two mediocre teams in a neutral location)

and they forgot to mow the oval (slow pitch)

most of the scoring coming from opposition turnovers ( poor shot selection)

the main highlight coming from the sub taking a great juggled mark and then a screamer

and the winning point coming from the full back missing a back kick and conceding a point

Record low score for all senior men’s T20 cricket Shocked

Most of the other sub-50 totals registered were by “minnow” national teams in T20Is, very few domestic/franchise examples. Eight lower totals in women’s T20Is, four of them by Mali!

The last time a lower total was registered in any senior level men’s format was Essex’s 14 all out v Surrey in the County Championship in 1983. A full 20 years before T20 was even born!
