Re: Embee's Tower of BaBeL
The umps have had a howler per game
Lightbody's not out call on Uzzie and then his incorrect explanantion to Tye (which didnt seem to be asked for) will be used as a teaching tool of what not to do
Its like the umps want DRS in Babel

Maybe the howlers are another feature implemented by CA, with a award (Golden Glasses) going to the Umpire with the peer voted biggest howler at the end of the competition.

Wow, those two lbw decision were just ridiculous.
The first saw Rashid Khan hit in front of middle and leg right back on his stumps and not given, then Short was gunned after clearly leg glancing the ball for 4.
What an embarrassment.

SlowMo clearly showed bat was in the air.

That is what I thought as well. Handy catch though all the same. No doubt about the fielding gene in the Harveys.

Agree. They shown a side-on view of the bowler immediately after the wicket & it was obvious but none of the commentators mentioned it.

Re: Embee's Tower of BaBeL
so 1 super close game out of every 10, it feels like this season? (maybe not, considering there's been 35 games so far, but you get the gist...)

Should it be Babel or Buble?
It’s not frenetic like Babel, it’s saccharine and ubiquitous, so I vote Buble.

Re: Embee's Tower of BaBeL
So CA has gone PC mad and is dropping all reference to Australia Day for Aus Day Big Bash matches.
"CA announced on Wednesday night that three Big Bash clubs will wear Indigenous jerseys and the term ‘Australia Day’ will be dropped from promotions in a bid to normalise conversations over the date’s history."
-----------------------------------------------------
FMD, what pack of dills. HTF is that normalising conversations??
