Will the Ganjas lift their game for this one?

Can't see WI doing any better this test. NZ have their strongest team in years while the windies are at their lowest ebb.

Snoozers second to Australia in the current Test rankings, with India down to third. When and how did that happen?

This old timer would not pass up a D Grade park match where I could pad my dismal stats. Many blokes attending their child's birth faint, vomit and are less than helpful. Maybe Kane was applying his version of the mercy rule to the WI.

Jesus, the Ganjas sent the Snoozers in again.
Clearly terrified of green tracks for their batsmen.
NZ 1-43.

Looks like the Windies have fumbled a few, and could've been in a better position than the current NZ 4-148.

Ha. In my local competition, just a few years ago, one of our local club's 'legends' finally tied the knot on the Saturday, marrying at 50 a lass in her 30's. The next day, the first day of his honeymoon I guess, he played in our Sunday league side (fourths) and came in to bat at number 6 or 7, where he had made many runs over many seasons, including a swashbuckling, six-laden, GF-winning century a decade earlier. Not so lucky this time. Absolutely smashed the first ball, flat, to cow corner ... and brilliantly caught. Although a strong contender for the club's 'coveted' duck award that year, an award which can only be won once by a player, he sadly 'lost' out to the club president, who steered his first ball to gully in the grand final.
Not sure about missing a sprig's birth. Surely you just delay your appearance in the batting order if necessary, or maybe deploy a sub fielder, nipping to the labour ward to cut the cord, before coming back to play your innings or resume your rightful place at the bowling crease?

4/42 at tea.
Bravo's batting average of around 37 is by far the best of their batting line up.

WI 8-124.
Fark, they're awful
2 Tests straight they have won the toss and "said, shit mon, we ain't batting on that paddy field" and let NZ make zillions, then collapsed at their first turn at bat.
What a joke.

Yep. They simply do not have the talent. They are fielding an experienced team as well and have arguably the best leader in world cricket.
The IPL continues to pillage their average to better players,. And of course England is happy to pick the eyes out of the joint.
I really do not see a way out of the greed of the new and old Imperialists.

How many potential WI players have we taken in the last 20 years? Joffrey’s the only notable one that comes to mind.
Sure, we did it in the 80s and 90s, but with players who mostly wouldn’t have even made their second XI anyway.

Windies dire. But possible not their nadir. That's been their dominant state over the past decade or two in the longest form.

They have their occasional moments... most of them against us, it seems. But every time it turns out to be a false dawn.

WI tail wagged to get their 2nd innings up to 317 but this couldn't avert a second straight innings Test loss to wrap up a very poor series and tour for them.
