There are reports that Victoria's streak of 61 days without a case of coronavirus in the community has come to an end.

The Herald Sun and The Age are reporting three cases have been identified in the community and none are from returned travellers.

Victoria's three new cases are recorded in the suburbs of Mitcham, Hallam and Mentone.

Yes and they are all linked to the Sydney cluster. We stupidly did not close our borders straight away. And now people have until just before midnight tomorrow night to come from the Blue Mountains and Wollongong. Close them NOW!

So dickheads who do not socially distance at NYE and other events are free to rock up to the SCG. There you are free to breathe what ever is expelled from others, yet you will be fined if you are caught sneaking a durry in an unoccupied part of the ground.

This has the Poisonous Parrot's crap all over it. Jones effectively runs the SCG Trust, does not believe in Covid and would have applied enormous pressure. If the Test becomes a super spreader event and people fall ill with some dying I hope The Trust, CA and Bad Glad face criminal charges.

In the USA some of Trump's events became super spreaders. Over time people will start suing Trump and the Republicans. I expect the same will happen here.

The fact is the Ruby Princess was a disaster and caused deaths in Tasmania.

I like Horace, also live close to the Black Rock restaurant. How hard would it have been for Gladys to mandate masks? That does not impede the economy.

Victorians have been prepared to make sacrifices in order to achieve a sense of normality. This has included no crowds at sporting venues for almost all of 2020. Gladys clearly does not heed the health warnings associated with big gatherings.

Would hope that people from the Us and Uk are banned from flying into Victoria.

Also interesting to see so many letters in The Age today decrying those whingeing Vics stuck in NSW who jumped into their car after the cluster outbreak up north and while we were still mandating masks and hand sanitising. What did they expect? They were warned that the borders may shut.
