Lovely stat^

Fine innings by Pant. Played some impressive innings overseas. Just as I type that... should've taken a single instead of 2 and Bumrah's gone.

Yarps look to be cruising again, though the captain’s last-ball departure gives India a bit of hope.

Dodgy DRS, but Kohli & co have crossed a line. It’s not just bad behaviour, it feels as if it’s transgressed into almost libel (whatever the technical term is). He should have the book thrown at him. As should Ashwin.

Entitled ar$eholes.

Also, why are so many sith effrican commentators also qunts?

Both need suspensions like Rassie Erasmus (but for longer). Rahul as well. Absolute arseholes.

But that DRS reprieve looked very questionable. After Mayank's dismissal in the first test... worth looking at their Hawkeye.

A very superball bounce on the DRS replay. Looked dusty.

Shirley they calibrate ball tracking regularly??

But agree, the petulance shown by E-Coli and Ashtray needs attention from the match ref.

DRS going very VAR here. Think van der Dussen was out.

India fail again to win in SA. On form and talent available they should have been able to overcome the Proteas. Kohli will be sanctioned.

A carbon copy of the previous match… I said India needed 300!

Shows they still have to overcome their weakness in seam-friendly overseas conditions to get anywhere near the great Test sides of the past.

Jansen was a find taking nineteen wickets at 16 in his first three tests. What a beanpole though - a 206cm left-armer.

In the end we were between easily. The poor quality of our batting stood out. This is a major worry. Rahane and Pujara need to go.

Be careful what you wish for, when we’re struggling to find batsmen who can even average 30…

Another very good match and series win by the Yarps. With over a day to spare in this one.

Good series and good win for SA. Had some luck, but capitalised on it unlike the Indian batsmen.

Rahane is done... too many players in and on the cusp of the team who are far better. Pujara might just have earned another chance with his 50 and 40.

Pujara would walk into just about any other Test side. I know there’s probably more batting depth in Indian FC cricket than elsewhere, but even so, hard to believe they’d cast aside a player of his record.

I agree. But we have Rohit Sharma, Gill and Iyer not in this side. Each of them have done well when given their opportunities. And he's not been great for a while.

First fallout of their already standing issues, this series and possibly even the diatribe that happened, Kohli gawn as captain.

Who’s the likely successor, then?

Fourth winning-most Test captain of all time, after Graeme Smith, Ponting and Waugh.

Rahul or Rohit Sharma. Rahane was certain if he could bat.

Well, it’s like prime ministers and England football managers, each one has to be the polar opposite of the previous one…
