ICC - completely incompetent buttwads.

But Hansen also said Harbhajan had "reaped the benefit" of database and human errors, with his offence in November 2001 - when he was fined 75% of his match fee and given a suspended sentence of one Test - not being made available to the assisting counsel at the time of sentencing. He said he "would have required more extensive submissions as to the offence in mitigation, which could have led to a different penalty".

Yes, yes, yes - and Hansen also said that he was not subject to any "direct pressure" in reaching his decision - can't believe that no-one else has not picked up on this.
Clever use of words - possibly to disguise an arm-twisting: from whom though - the BCCI or (God forbid) Cricket Australia?

Re: ICC - completely incompetent buttwads.
One of those (supposedly rare) occasions when Chappelli made a great deal of sense was in an article he wrote back in July 1991:
If Test cricket is killed off, it'll be an inside job.
The International Cricket Council (ICC), the administrators who are supposedly appointed to protect the interests of the game, will be guilty of the murder. The weapon they use is a slow poison administered in the form of lethal doses of lunatic legislation.........
Test cricket is ailing because the ICC is so immersed in political manoeuvring that it is totally incapable of administration solely on the basis of what is in the best interests of cricket.

f*** ICC and f*** their mothers.
who is the f***** match-referee, is it Michael f***** Proctor ?
Rohit Sharma fined 10% of match fees for dissent at the caught behind decision.
fined under section 1.3 of ICC Code of Cowdung
apparently he stood amused for 3 seconds.

And yet Yuvraj (Who in the Melbourne test hung around at the crease for literally 10 seconds longer than Sharma) didn't get punished. They are a complete joke.

Re: ICC - completely incompetent buttwads.
Why should a player get punished for showing dissapointment at a decision that is blatently wrong and yet Rudi (Who has become a joke in recent months) will continue to umpire like nothing's happened?

That's what I was fuming about. Talk about inconsistent.

Trev ...Trev ...Trev ....
If a player can use the excuse of a wrong decision or I thought it was a wrong decision they will show dissent at everything ....NO DISSENT AT ALL ...is the only way to go ...check how dissent to an official in other sports (Union , Soccer , AFL etc ) is dealt with
All umpires make mistakes ...and I'm sure Rudi would be embarassed about his errors when he reviews them ....the good umpires make fewer mistakes and dont let their errors ruin their concentration and dont try to make up for it ...

It appears that when a batsman cops a good one and doesn't walk he says "meh you get the good with the bad, it all evens out." But as soon he smashes one into his pads and gets gunned he seems to forget this philosohy.
