Home Run
Has anyone ever heard this term used in conjunction with cricket?
I was at a quiz last night and it was the only question we got wrong in the sports section.

I think I may have heard a commentator refer to a six as a 'homer'...sounds gay to me.

Re: Home Run
Hmm, never. I reckon it's boo-hockey... utter twaddle. I've read many a cricket book about 'back in the day'... reading excerpts from as long ago as the 1600s. Never heard it.
I'd have torn the place up.
I'd have torn the place up.

I know. I was just letting my true colours come out - I think this fluffy nickname stuff is a load of gash - hence I go down the pub and beat up women.
Logical progression - do keep up!
