Surprised you overlooked Richard Madeley there. I know I did...

It was C&P from some website or other. Why would I go massively out of my way to find out where every T, D and H was born? I'm well out of Essex - I think I've holidayed in other countries longer than I lived in Benfleet.

Rubbish.
You can take the man out of Essex but you can't take the Essex out of the man. Your ours now.

'Mad' doesn't do it justice. No excuses eowyn, it was filth, complete and utter filth. Kids eating ice cream showed more intensity than that shower of s***e I saw at Headingley tonight. Derbyshire would have beaten us with a five a side team and thoroughly deserved their victory.
Brophy, missed stumping, s***e. Vaughan refusing to bend his back and mis-fielding, s***e. Two dropped catches, s***e. The bowling, s***e. The batting, s***e. The fielding, s***e. Goughs captaincy, s***e. The whole lot of them should hang their heads in shame.
It's sickening that a mediocre team like Derbyshire didn't have to work hard to get a result. Yorkshire looked like they couldn't be ars*d, especially in the field, everything seemed to be half-hearted and lacksadaisical. I'll tolerate a bad day at the office but not a lack of commitment and if we're treated to the same down at Chelmsford in the FP semi-final I'll be on the pitch at the end asking Gough for my money back.
Re: Derbyshire. The non-entity that scored a ton, Smith I think his name was needs to calm down a bit. He went off leaping about celebrating his ton as though he'd won the bleeding World Cup. It was a good knock n'all that, but come on, twas only 20/20 and Yorkshire obviously didn't give a fark. Ricky Clarke is a horrible, ugly mofo, Needham chucks it, Birch throws like a girl and the Derbyshire kit is the worst I've ever seen.
Not that I'm bitter or owt.

Glad you're taking it with equanimity, Mr GT.
Perhaps you should just (fred) boycott the whole tourney.

Re: English county season 2008 (III)
At least he got to go - check this:
My company wanted someone to flog the magazine "The Steelback"(it publishes it) up the County Ground tonight. Couple of hours, free ticket, 50 bones, I live round the corner - all cushty. I said "Yeah, sound, I love the Steelbacks anyway, know quite a few of the regulars and my all-round geezerness is quality for selling. Plus, I live round the corner, so you won't have to f*ck about with lifts". To me, that sounds like a quality mag-seller.
The bloke chose three amazingly fit birds.
Whatta qunt.
Thinking about putting in for discrimination. They won't sell shit. They'll just get f*cked round the back of the stand by some drunken munter.
F*ck this. I'm pretty f*cked off really.

Re: English county season 2008 (III)
Noice.
But in all seriousness, I do find it a bit much. Fit birds do sell things, but I'm really not sure they'll sell bespoke cricket magazines to a load of part-time twats. At least I know I could've flogged 5 or 10 by just speaking to people I knew.

Aye. I suppose. In essence, are you going to choose the petite brunette sex pixie or the big, lumbering, foghorn-voiced, week's gruffed, twat-haired monkey?
