Three down.
Moores, Vaughan etc must have been on magic mushrooms.
The Red Rose is doing all it can to pull things around.

Re: England v South Africa, 2nd Test , Leeds, 18-22 July
I'm not here for long as i've got to go.
But had to say a word on Darren Pattinson. What an absolute f***ing disgrace. This should be an immediate vote of no-confidence in our selectors who should be fired immediately. I don't care if he takes 5 wickets, and bowls us to victory. He's simply not English, and has shown very little intention to play for our country. Off the back of 6 decent county games he gets picked in front of some of the finest pace bowlers we've produced for 20 years - Hoggard, Simon Jones & Harmison who are all fit and bowling to a similar (or better Jones & Harmison) standard in county cricket. Not to mention others like Tremlett and Bresnan who are promising young bowlers and wouldn't be batting below Panesar that's for sure.
I can't believe people are being paid handsomely to make such crass and ridiculous decisions.

Oooooooh! Was that a catch? I thought the fingers of his left hand were underneath it but I can't be sure. Bumble's saying Amla had the best view of it and he thought he was out.
Controversy!

First replay I was sure it bounced, a few more and I wasn't so sure. Probably impossible for the third umpire to give for certain.

Bloody Saffie cheating bastards.
Amla walked off knowing he's out, and the coach appeals and saves his wicket.
What the funk is going? Qunts.

It's all a bit messed up because if Sky hadn't shown the replay straight away, no-one would have complained.
If this is going to happen all the time, then it's basically a referral system already in place.

He should have been out a few balls later anyway. Bowden is setting a very low standard indeed, yet Harper is striving to match him. Who will win in the battle of the sh!t umpires?

Aye - looked like he gloved that on to his jumper, and it definitely wasn't a no-ball.

Cast your mind back to the C4 analyst Simon bloody Hughes - Edgbaston 2005, 2nd Ashes test ...
same thing happened ... immediate replays casting "doubt" on Kaspers catch behind ...
The Sky lot should stop putting up immediate replays of catches and lbw appeals etc etc ...
Vawn's looked a clean catch - Amla clearly thought so and walked off.
Then the Jaarpiss coach intervenes having seen the Sky replay.
Strauss however stood his ground against DeCheaters "catch" - big big difference.
It's all bollocks now ... off field intervention governing the adjudication of a Test Match.
FFS.

So did AB's on first view.
Amla's mistake was to believe that Vaughan is an English gentleman.

I think both dubious catchs today were not out. But I think that claiming a dubious catch does not make you a cheat instantly. Or else there would be a hell of a lot of cheats around.

The AB claim was a disgrace.
The Vaughan claim equally so.

I agree.
But both of them claiming those catchs doesn't make them cheats IMO
