But what are the positives to take out of the evening?

These stories are only made public when England is losing. I find it hard to believe that during England's golden period in 2004-05 not one England player was seen intoxicated, or spotted in a strip club somewhere. When England are winning it's just a case of "Ah well, they deserve to be able to let off some steam" etc, but when they're losing, it's "They're playing like crap on the field, and look what they're doing off it...Shame!" etc.
