I guess the big question is will Samit Patel get a knock in his 4th ODI!?

Depends how many balls Ian Bell allows himself to waste.
Re: England v South Africa, 3rd ODI, The Oval, Aug 29th
I want to see Kallis bowling to Patel. I miss fat bloke international cricket.

Make it a real challenge ... get one of those fat umpires in as well, and see if Kallis/Patel can get round him while bowling, yet still stay entirely within the return crease.

Shame Shep's retired- with the curiously large Boucher behind the stumps as well it would be quite a sight.
Not too late to recall Ian Blackwell.

Aye - arrives Saturday morning, and disappears again (probably for good this time) in a thunderstorm at some point on Sunday.

Kallis to Key: Fatty on Fatty here as Boucher, who has also gained some pounds stands a bit closer to the stumps this time. Possibly to prevent himself from running further at the change of ends.
Kallis chugs in effortlessly and bowls a wide WIDE full delivery which Key smashes to the boundary. Kallis has a few words with Key, possibly about the after match meal I'm not sure. Mark Benson steps into join the conversation and he look's to be seperating the discussion, maybe he already ate.

And not a fit all-rounder in sight.

Seriously, why do we need 5 front line seamers and a Spinner?

They've changed roles for bit, it's helps to have a bit of a variety in a relationship.
