Malcolm Conn (Who I generally regard as a tosser) has said that Warne was the cause of much team disharmony during his career.

LOL. Try telling Ponting that Aus are better off without Warne in the side right now.

Warne would have captained the team better, if not anything else.

FFS Conman ...what a ****** joke of an article....

TGM's "disunity" obviously had a huge effect ...

I'd like to know who he supposedly was saying "how's Tugga doing" in the 99 WC as he spent most of his time standing between gilly and tugga's brother.

I stopped reading after this:

Ponting has been a wonderful captain through an increasingly difficult transition period that has inevitably seen Australia lose its previously untouchable status.

The few times we lost was when Warne was fed up with captaining the side under the counter. If brains was napalm he couldn't blow his nose with it off the field. On the field he could've made Hiroshima look like a kindergarten outing.

Mal Conn, who maybe should be called 'Tent', went after AB in a big way around the time of the Geoff Marsh axing (and that notorious phone call from the WACA

As a shit-stirrer and self-appointed hatchet man he makes Patrick Smith sound like Bruce Macavaney. He is as ignorable as Horrie.

And look out Ricky, you may be a 'wonderful captain' now, but when he has a different target you'll find you've turned into something else in record=breaking time.

Yeah, they'd have been better off without Bradman as well.

Except they wouldn't have been, because that's a ridiculolus statement to make.
