Re: Weather comes in from Siberia
We have snow in the bit of the garden that doesn't get sun at all. All the snowmen and massive balls that people made in the park have all gone to smush.

Re: Weather comes in from Siberia
Forecasting more moderate to heavy snow for these here parts around rush hour this evening.
And then possibly 10C+ by the weekend - must be the best part of 3 months since we saw that sort of temperature...is going to feel like T-Shirt weather by comparison!

Had some friends return to Switzerland from Perth yesterday...
It was 41 in Perth when we took them to the airport ...and it will be -6 in Zurich when they get there

Still cold here. Another heavy frost this morning.
I think I'm ready for some warm sun right now.

Still cold, some flurries of snow today. Have some snow in the garden and a small pillar of icy snow that used to be a snowman.

Do you often write letterbocks contributions to Viz magazine?Sans Souci wrote:The current standard of snow ball throwing by youngsters has been shown up this winter to be pretty damn poor and not what it once was.
Whilst walking the other day I had some young scoundrels throw a couple at me, and they missed badly. There really was no excuse for such a miss from so close. So I turned and gave them the stare that says "don't try that again son" and walked on smiling to myself.

Re: Weather comes in from Siberia
40 minute drive home took hour and a half today as the population of Nottingham slipped and slithered along the snow covered, ungritted roads.
Still, would have been a lot worse had it not turned to rain half way home.
Tomorrow morning could be fun with the said ungritted roads now filled with slush that will turn readily to rock hard ice in tonight's sub zero-athon.

They were at the beach in Oz
They googled up the live webcam feed for Bettmeralp and were licking their lips at the skiing conditions

In the summer, it's like that but it gets bloody cold and dark in the winter.

To be honest I'm not in a bad spot here really. It's pretty quiet and I'm on the edge of nothing.
Not as nice as the place where you posted a photo of the other day but it's not bad.
