Meh. Would prefer a game-breaker like Symonds in the squad than some random from the Sheild with no Test experience.

Poor old Roy is just too stoopid to ever avoid trouble long enough to avoid bringing controversy to the Aus side. I think CA are well tired of that.

You spent most of 2008 telling us how those playing shield cricket were 'sh!t-hot' because they were in a higher standard of competition.

Though McGain has since farked that theory up.

Not saying the Sheild isn't good. Just look at Siddle, North, Hughes...etc....

But would much prefer someone with international experience and experience of England like Symonds. Saying that, North would still be my preferred No.6

mcgain had one bad match...even tiger woods has had a bad round...ffs haddin let through over 40 byes in one innings...phew scored a duck in his first dig...have no doubt he would not bowl as poorly next time...that said I think he is too old to be selected

Well since it was one of the worst ever bowling displays in test history, that is possibly correct.

The Drunk has some influence with the NSP and there is no way Punter will ever want to chuck the ball to Ohma ever again. He will not tour.

Ferguson
Rogers
Haddin
North

Good squad.

Kudos on no Podge, but sorry Mick, as you know, I won't back you on Watto. I'd whack Hussey D in there instead.

I think 13 of those players are locked in, with only the 2 extra batsmen/all rounder spots up for grabs.

Battling for those 2 spots are Dave Hussey, Ferguson, Roy, and ugh, Podge and Watto.

I don't think North and Krazy are locked in.

I am certain they will take the soft Tozzie/Billy/Dubber.

Ah yes, fair call, JGK. I guess the spinner spot is probably between Krazy and Haurie. And I really hope you're wrong about the pollywaffle.

That squad is hardly the scariest Aus have sent over in the past 20 years, though given where our crickets at, it'll be strong enough.

Pisser...
