Ahoy, Jay! I think I've found the 'Red' emoticon...

How the heck could they leave Ntini out.
I would rather have him in the team than roelof vd merwe.

Smiths out. 28/1.
I reckon Johnson will take 5 wickets today.

Johnson and Siddle (when fit) are a class above any other Aus seamer.

Oh Lord how on earth was that lbw?
Rudi is such a bad umpire. It's very strange to see him giving shockers against Australia, I'm used to it being the other way around.

That maybe so, but I still haven't forgiven him for his performance on our 2005 tour of Australia. He had a particular liking for giving shockers against Lara.
He is to Windies what Bucknor was to the Indians.

Don't get Rudi confused with Ian Howell. No he WAS awful.

The seamers aren't getting the ball to do much under the lights. Hardly any swing. It's a good move having two spinners in the side.

Just checked to see the result, and the floodlights have gone out . . . this is the second time in the 4 day-night games (ODIs and T20s) . . . . must be a concern for the IPL poobahs . . .

What's the go with Ponting these days? The man is a walking wicket in ODI's.

I wonder if he'll give the same old speech during the presentation. "All the batsman have to take responsibility for themselves and make more runs!"Henry wrote:What's the go with Ponting these days? The man is a walking wicket in ODI's.

Previously, the selectors have not been afraid to tap the skipper on the shoulder in the shorter form of the game on the back of poor form and poor results.Henry wrote:What's the go with Ponting these days? The man is a walking wicket in ODI's.
Maybe the Pakistan series will be a real dress-rehearsal for Clarke.

And the lights didn't go out in Aus. SA is an oddity, it's a 4th world country out there on it's own.

When the lights go out in the rest of the world,
what will our cousins say?
They'll be playing in the sun and having fun, fun, fun
til daddy takes the gun away . . .
