Yup. I'm about 3 suburbs inside the outer most northern suburb. The Sydney Basin is over 70 kms in radius.

If you're still stuck, qmy, let me know.

Although I would have thought in the interests of good forum form skulls and/or Dem may have revealed their techniques.

Ah! Look all this is is well and good and I didn't expect my spur-of-the-moment thread to develop into anything else.

Thanks skull and whoever else posted what looks like the instructuions for Apollo 13 to get back to Earth.

I think I'll just post the link in long hand (somehow) and hope it works.

It's really an amazing geological feature.

Bradman, these are the instructions I gave skully and, as you can see, he managed to do it. I'm assuming you know how to post an image here using the the little green tree?

When you get the picture/map you want to copy, press the PrtSc (print screen) key on your key board. Nothing will apparently happen but go into the PAINT programme (I assume you have paint) and click EDIT and then PASTE. Use the square with the dots around it to draw a frame around the area of the pic/map you want to select. Click on EDIT and then COPY.

Now open a new Paint, click EDIT and then PASTE and then save as.

Yeah but I just wanted some help and the thread had nothing. I came back like six hours later and it's three pages, none helping me.

Demelza I'm a dunce at this.

If anyone's curious about a real sinkhole go to google and type in 'koolatong sinkhole' without the pounctuation marks. Then follow the links.

Mate I think I'll just stick to offering links. I'm not knocking anyone who can do otherwise and I appreciate the effort but if it has more than one prompt I'm farked.

Cos PeterCS disclosed the contents of my PMs on the board and I was punished by having my PM privilege removed.
