That is worthy of a North Korean propaganda station at its best.

OK, how to make it EASY.

  • For a Google map image, at the top RH of the map there's 'Print', 'Send', and 'Link'.
  • Click 'Link'
  • In the box underneath 'Paste HTML to embed in website' there's a bunch of code. Copy that to the clipboard and then paste it, unedited, into the forum, and you get something like this:

(Although, to be honest, I added 'center' tags to make it sit right in the screen.)

Same process to embed a google street view image

And doing it this way has the added bonus of allowing people to navigate around the picture...

RD, I figured there are easier ways than tooling around in 'paint' to put the pics up...

Nicely done, skully. I forgot that I turned HTML on for the whole forum.

Should mean you can embed all kinds of shite if you can find the right code.

As for pictures, in most cases, you can point to a picture on a website, right click on it, choose 'properties', and in the pop-up window copy the full address, which will most often end with .jpg (or .gif, .tif, or.bmp).

Whack that between img tags, or click the little 'image' tile, and Robert's your aunt's husband.

In fact it's so easy, you could probably do it with a hole in your head.

And if you want to minimise the 'embarrassment' of things going wrong, you can always 'preview' before posting.
