At least he only has himself to sook at.

Still it could turn out to his advantage. RBR may now force the Kraut to drive to team orders and with no fark ups they should finish ahead of the Ferrari in the last 2 races.

Aye, bearing in mind that Ferrari have no new engines left, they may well suffer from a lack of straight-line speed, which may cause more than a few problems at Interlagos in a fortnight.

It would be grouse to see someone doing a Ferrari to Ferrari and getting the Kraut to let Webber through and respond with "meh fine us $100k, it's down the back of Mark's couch"

Hard to see how Red Bull can't throw everything Webber's way now including letting Webber pass the Kraut.

So what chances RBR does support Webber and in one or both of the last 2 races they instruct the arrogant little Kraut to let him pass, then said ALK turns straight into him with an "Oops, I thought you said let him pass on the left" or simply ignores the Pits?

Brazilian Grand Prix - Both Red Bulls have passed The Incredible Hulk on Lap 1 but Alonso is into 4th after an error by Hamilton.

Well it's going to the final weekend then, if Webber wins the last race he'll have the title. Really hope he does it.

If Alonso ends up winning the championship by a small margin then it will be due to his teamate gifting him a victory. Makes a mockery of the sport.

A Webber win with Alonso second would give the Championship to the Spaniard by one point.

If Vettel wins with Webber second, they would finish equal on points. However, Vettel would then have one more race win. So if Alonzo finished worse than 5th, Vettel would win & if he finished 3rd or 4th Alonzo would win. Therefore Red Bull would need to make sure Webber got past Vettel without making it obvious.

Stuffed if I know what would happen if Vettel won & Alonso came 5th as they would then be tied on points & Grand Prix wins. Do they have a further countback system or would it declared a tie?

Oops, thought it was a 6 point gap but it's 8, so yes Webber needs to finish at least two places ahead of alonso and more if he doesn't come first.

Hopefully Vettel wins, Webber second, Alonso 5th; and there's a dais-top brawl or their girlfriends have to mudwrestle one another to decide who wins the championship.

The Quntish Kraut is more likely to let Alonso pass him into second place to rob Webber of the victory.

So if Vettel's first, Webber second and Alonso third, with two laps to go, and Vettel pulls over to let Webber through, what would happen?

Bump. Qualifying tonight.

I have a feeling that Vettel might jag this. I wouldn't be surprised if Bernie tells Ferrari that they got off lightly with the team orders earlier this year and Alonso shouldn't win the title. If he does they will find some way to strip it off him. So Alonso will have "engine trouble" leaving the Kraut to finish first ahead of Webber.

Lot of talk of RBR already having made the decision to allow Webber to pass the Kraut if necessary. Alonso expects it.

With Webber behind him, Alonso only needs to shadow Vettel from start to finish to take the title - he can even afford a McLaren in between them. I'm sure Hamilton will enjoy the chance to play spoiler to his old rival though, if it plays out so that that's a possibility...

Vettel is in with a big chance. If Webber is in a position to over take Alonso, i hate to think to think of what ugly scenarios might unfold.

Hopefully the first four get involved in a pile-up on the first lap, clearing the way for Webber to do a Bradbury.
