FWIW - and my last word, promise - it may depend on pitch, bass coverage of what you're hearing it on, as well as whatever physiological differences there may be from person to person. Like a gigantic ear canal.

I suppose the same will be true of "Bream Steam Mill", or whatever it is.

I don't want to express a particular view on the disagreements above.
Just say: fellas, however right you are, this place is lonely enough. (See thread title.) Will it be a case of the last man standing?
Clanton: Hey, Tom - DUCK!
McLaury: What?
Earp: Quack!

Cheers Petey. All good. Lardy might be an Ass and I might be a Mule but we're all in the same paddock.

What a pompous ass.
If you think my comment (above) was directed at you, you missed the point completely.
Fine. Irrespective of who it was directed at, the comment was that of a pompous ass. You don't own threads or the forum.
WTF is 'owning the forum' even about? Bit of back pressure there, mate, open the bag.

I know I let the side down through the week due to "In the sticks with no internet coverage" issues, but fark me, this place is quiet.

No, my carrier Optus has no coverage in the narrow Lower McDonald valley north of Sydney.
I can use the lady partner's phone (she just manages one bar on the signal) but I largely couldn't be arsed as we are generally only there for 2 to 3 days.

Sounds like inconsistent reception and a major service deficiency

Low post count for the month? We should just squeak past February, given the Pak v England Test match.
From memory, there has been an annual IPL-associated dulling of interest. Just no cricket worthy if comment.

Re: Jesus, this place is dead...
I know I haven't contributed as much this month due to illness, but I'm amazed that in a cricketing month + the World Cup we look to be struggling to crack a shitty 1,000 posts for June 2018.

Eat shit, February 2018, and look out, October 2017.
Also, we have apparently had one new user in the last 12 months.
