Well, our season is finally underway. We'd played really well prior to the last 2 games and got next to nothing. Last 2 games we've been tres-ordinaire by al accounts and picked up 4 points.

Madness.

...still worrying times at the Ham, going down to a limited Everton side at home. The thing about Zola is that he just hasn't brought in any quality players at all.

Plays a lovely style of football though, I enjoy watching West Ham even when they are struggling.

Shut up you malicious tractor boy! I will always be grateful to West Ham for releasing Jimmy Bullard thus allowing the introduction of a Posh legend.

Though they are also responsible for Tommy Williams...................

Tbf life down there is not too bad, at least you get to win the odd match.

The Sun reckons Fergie's been sacked, the club are refusing to comment and our most popular forum has crashed as the server is too busy.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm this better not be true.

The BBC have the same story so I think you may be disappointed:

I've seen some ridiculous manager sackings but getting rid of someone who has got two back-to-back promotions because you have a bad start? If it's just results based and there's nothing more behind it then the owner deserves to have them not win another game all season.

Is Barry Fry still at the Posh in some directorial capacity?

Probably angling for the job himself...

It's official, Fergie has left Posh by mutual consent. It's a really sad time for Posh as Fergie has provided us with standards of football not seen at London Road since the 1960's. I can only wish him success with whatever club he ends up at.

Please Lord do not let Peter Taylor, John Barnes or Denis Wise become Posh manager.

Nah, to them at the moment a draw is as bad as a loss.

I'd rather not have a silly frog embarrassing the club

Twisted Evil

It turns out that Fergie was unsettled after being tapped up by a Premiership club (rumoured to be Hull), hence the departure by mutual consent. He was not sacked as previously thought.

We were not meant to know this but as usual Fat Bazza gave the game away to the media even after lawyers had been in meetings all day yesterday about compensation and confidentiality agreements Very Happy
