Bullsh1t. He'll prove them wrong if he takes 35 wickets at 22 in the series.

As opposed to ten at 45 in England previously.

Agree JGK. Lee will get thrashed like the proverbial red-headed stepson come the test.
Re: Fair fukcs to Brett Lee
I'm not sure. He was easily the stand-out bowler in the match so far, especially for the Aussies. He bowled with intensity and was still hitting 94 after his 17th over. He bowled pretty accurately.
Personally, I'll be pleased if Aus leave him out.

Head and shoulders above the rest. If a person from the past saw him, they'd think he's the best thing since sliced ice.
Re: Fair fukcs to Brett Lee
Aye, Bumble was saying he'd heard that Bung had lost 10 kph but to him he seems to have got quicker. Let's see how the Tests pan out. Fingers crossed.

In general, he looked a little short of the 2005 model pace-wise, but he's a damn sight more accurate. He's a shoe-in for the 1st Test anyway - knowing him he'll have one eye on the speed gun and not at the front foot line.
Also, I should have a bet that he'll bowl a beamer or 4. He did yesterday.

Totally unintentionally on purpose of course...

I reckon some of his beamers have been intentional, possibly instructed. Some though are utter ineptitude. That was probs the case yesterday, he'd been bowling for ages and the ball was probably sweaty.

F*ck me, what's wrong with me???
He did it on purpose, the total Aussie qunt.

Lee will play the first Test and it's entirely possible for the opinions of many on this forum to be wrong, but there's a lot of history suggesting that as soon as he's back in the five-day stuff there'll be one good spell and a lot of no-ball dominated dross.
