Stephen Fry on Cricket
The speech is from Andrew Strauss' Testimonial dinner, but it is excellent.

Time has passed but it's a good read, and it shows that Fry himself could do no worse than the softies at the ECB.

I have decided, since Sunday, to go into the heterosexual breeding business. My first three sons will be called Collingwood Fry, Anderson Fry and Monty Fry. That’s if their mother can ever get them out, of course.

He's CB's great nephew or something isn't he. His book "The Liar" sums up the game beautifully.

Stephen is no relation to Charles Burgess.
One family came from Eastern Europe, the other originally from France.
Nor is he related to any character on Futurama.

"This a beautiful game not to be sullied by the sordiness of the outside world"
"Of course we'll ****** cheat".
Not subtle but one of the best lines in English literature,.
