yeah maybe, but it would prolly cost $5,000 for a round trip Perth/Nippon/Perth.
Not worth it for a $5/kilo saving.

Aye, a thou kilos per trip ought to do the trick each trip.
Makes sense.
Job done.

Note to Simkat:
Batfink = Brass Monkey.
Now all we need is someone to find the Disney thread.

I still seem to think it was here. Could be wrong. He started it on the old FB and carried on here.

Re: Things which are of no interest to anyone else
AD's ladies' thread was here, after an earlier version of FB mark 1. Early on there were some very tasty pictures, verging on soft porn, then it delved into Bill Hensonian territory. AD didn't like being pulled up on this by tac, and in some sort of red mist moment went back to delete not only the pictures, but also his posts ... the thread emptied out quickly as a result. It was then either locked, virtually empty - or perhaps deleted. The 'Disney' barb provoked the legendary 'bananas and oranges' response, which is right up there with 'hearsay' as an FB mentalist moment.

Re: Things which are of no interest to anyone else
Nice summary, lardy. taips and I were discussing this last night and thank you for confirming our foggy memories of the first two weeks of FBII. Furry's "Tastefully Attired" thread was the replacement to the binned thread.lardbucket wrote:AD's ladies' thread was here, after an earlier version of FB mark 1.
