You can't blame Onions pumping his fist because that draw was almost as good as a win for England and a loss for SA.

Ball tampering or not, Broad strikes one as being a bit petulant. He seems to call for a review almost every time he's given out even when it's indisputable that he'll have to leave the crease. There was also the case of his complaining about the Saffers taking too long to make up their minds about a review.

Anderson looked to be ball-tampering.

Broad's a pretty cool guy. He just doesn't like appealing at the Umpire.

Nice Tits , Sunny

If you cut and paste Broad's response to the questions of his favourable treatment ...and then bother to comprehend what he said ...you will see that Broad points out that asking a polite question of the umpires on a rule clarification is not against the Laws of the game or the Code of Conduct ...he does some things that are annoying and get close to the line that the Code of Conduct draws but most of the time doesnt cross it (possibly all the time as I cant be arsed looking up his CoC record) ...If he wasn't Chris Broad's son , nobody would give a toss about his 'petulant' behaviour

If the Poms still have reviews left when the number 9 gets out why not use them ...

I don't give a toss about his petulant behaviour either, was merely pointing out that he seems to be a tad petulant. Just an observation like saying that Monty tends to overappeal.

The appeal towards the end today was because he thought he may have taken his hand off the bat - not that he didn't hit it.

As i've said before it seems some want to try and get Broad fined for being a bit of a qunt. Which is not against the rules. Last time I looked most of the Aussie team weren't suspended Wink

JKL

With Broad being the son of an ICC Match referee I'd think he knows the Code of Conduct pretty well ...it seems a lot of the people who whinge about player behaviour dont know it at all

Part of the fun side of umpiring for me is teaching people how to sledge because I hate reporting people ...the difference between telling the batsman directly that he is a useless lump with no shots and saying to the first slip that 'this useless lump has no shots' are enormous

Ghosted newspaper columns are pre-approved by the England team, therefore one can only assume that rather than letting things lie, England are absolutely determined to be very, very vocal on this subject:

Stuart Broad slags off Saffers

Interesting that Michael Vaughan was quick to condemn England, telling the BBC that "England know that what they did was not in the laws of the game."

Err, f*ck of Vaughney. Geez. It hasn't taken him long out of the side before he's completely forgotten what it was like when he was playing and facing criticism from the media and former players.

This affair brings back memories of Vaughney calling Graeme Smith 'the witness' after Smith appeared to give evidence against Vaughan to the match referee.

The Saffies really can be whingeing little girls sometimes.
