Thoroughly crap weekend.
Was out driving and managed to get the car bogged. Fortch not the work car, but majorly inconvenient. After stuffing around for over an hour trying to get it out, I wound up with a pulled muscle in my arm, so called for a tow. Eighty bucks later, the tow truck took 30 seconds to get the car out.
Then manged to sprain an ankle afterwards, and due to being overzealous with the ice on the ankle, I've managed to get frost burns on my foot.
Not happy. Shit weekend.
F*ck, f*ck, f*ckity f*ck...

Meh, onto my fifth double bourbon for the night and starting to mellow now.
Might watch Avatar again tonight, just to see how crap it was sans-3D.

Re: Thoroughly crap weekend.
Actually had a qunt of a meeting on Thursday arvo that went for hours. Ended up with a pounding headache and feeling quite crook in the guts. Think I picked up a dose of food-poisoning sometime through the day.
Got home and had the aches and shakes something fierce. Hit the sack at 7.30 and hallucinated all night. Had Friday off and after struggling with some early morning forumming, slept for much of the day. Then had to drive up the coast on Friday evening to my Mum's to get her car ready for a big trip (well, 4 hours but at 70, that big for her). The car needed new front brake pads and an oil change. Great when you are feeling 2nd hand.
So my weekend was a tad ordinary as well.

If I thought he wanted and would accept my sympathy I'd give it. For someone who is part of the "grow a thicker skin, it's only words on a screen, poms are whingers, get a life brigade", I find Zat's posting of all this a bit confusing.

I know what pentobarb is, I've used the stuff often enough, we call it bump juice, nothing as bizarrely romantic as "green dream". You people live in an odd reality I think.

In Australia, animals don't die. They just go to sleep & dream forever.
Whereas in England they get bumped off.

It's called black humour.
Wally, I've had to put my own animals "to sleep", it's not pleasent for any one but you have to make that choice and someone has to do it and those that have to do it learn ways to cope.
