JGK asked the Q a week or so back whether or not any side had won the top flight in England with more than 6 losses. Anyone know?

Of course it will be a moot point given Chelsea won't win the EPL this season.

To attempt to ensure that the Scum don't win??

So a Manure title would be worse than a Chelsea title to the Scousers?

if utd win it, it will be the 2nd instance (in the premier league era) of a team that has lost 7 times winning the championship after blackburn in 94/5. but that was over a 42 match season.

a few sides have won it despite losing 6 (utd 92/3 {42 matches}, 95/6 {42 matches}, 00/01 and arsenal 97/8 ).

Yes, because at present MU and LFC share the record for most league wins.

You're a fool if you think that. Obviously it's easier as a United fan to say that from the offset so you have an excuse, but if you genuinely believe that then you are a bit clueless.

I hope I'm wrong, but ask any Liverpool and they will tell you exactly how it is, its a small price to pay. Liverpool prob won't have much to play for then and I can see benitez resting key players , for europe.

Any Liverpool fan would probably be okay with Chelsea winning, but to think that Rafa or his players will let them win is just ludicrous.

I reckon it will be a draw.

My bad meant to write Liverpool fan, but yeah my point stands, as i said don't think Liverpool will put as much importance on the game as Chelsea will.

depends if they have a chance of getting into the top 4. if its still mathematically possible, they will give it their all.

chelsea are the best team in the league - it would be a travesty if utd won it. no neutral wants to see a team winning it 4 years in a row.

I don't think Chelsea are the best team it's not that clear cut, on their day they are devastating but also some games play appalingly, same applies to United and Arse. I think the teams are closely matched this year, the table doesn't lie and 38 games proves it. Whoever racks up the most points no matter how, are the best team.

Looking at chelseas squad and how good they can be when it all clicks (3 times they've scored 7, against decent teams too), there is no doubt in my mind that Chelsea are the best team in the country. If they cock it up then that's because utd showed the greater mental strength. Which of course is a part of it and an area utd have been unrivalled in (winning mentality). But in pure footballing terms chelsea are more complete. Utd have relied heavily on Rooney.

But as you say whoever wins deserves it. Just my opinion.
