O'Keefe has been named to spin against Pakistan. It's true that apart from Warne, spinners usually struggle in Australia so the Ashes will come down to the two pace attacks.

The revolving door of Australia spin bowling......

What's that now? Seven spinners tried since Warne retired? And it's only been just over three years......

I guess this change was forced because of Hauritz's injury, but they haven't given the other guys much of a crack before discarding them. Spinners take time.

The Aussies just wish they had bowlers of the calibre of Bresnan, Yardy and Wright...

Yardy does a job and i'm more likely to get nearer the test team. What's the problem?

Let's face it, Berry has a bit of the up-his-own-arse about him. A smarmy trait.

And journalists make copy to make money. Nothing new there.

Berry speaks the truth - this is the worst Aussie attack for twenty years. The fact that most Aussie attacks in the meantime have contained the names McGrath and Warne seems to have escaped him.

Henry wrote:Cameron White was a promising young leg spinner at Smith's age. He could end up sticking to batting. He looks pretty decent, though. I wouldn't say he appears to have the makings of a world beater, but he could well end up with 200 odd test wickets at around 37 apiece, providing his batting is good enough for the number six spot.

Poor man's Richie Benaud?

Astute as ever!

I remember Trev also referring to ShyT as 'nothing but a front foot cross bat slogger' so the typewriters monkeys sometimes work
