Cricket's most parochial hack journo
I nominate Peter Lalor of the filthy murdoch press' The Australian
In today's article PL who was covering the champs v chumps match at the SCG was too embarassed to discuss the inept spiv performance...instead in the bulk of the article he covered in his classic spiv ra ra way the performance of fleas and bollybogan in the nets
I challenge any FB'er to show there is a more inept craven hack than this spiv ra ra merchant

It's a wide field.
I've always thought Malcolm Conn was an utterly sh!t cricket journalist who had nothing to say about anyone until he sensed their blood in the water, at which point he would single-handedly ravage the wounded and howl triumphantly over the scraps

Andrew Miller? I reckon he's pretty good. Great knowledge of English cricket, and tends to hit the nail on the head in regards to the public's feelings regarding certain players.

Robin Marlar (Sunday Times) in the 70s was an insufferable sanctimonious ass.
His hankering for The Good Old Days of amateurism, Gents v Players and the moral superiority of English cricket were even too much for EW Swanton, who in 1974 after a day's play shortened to half an hour, used all the time left over in his Stumps Summary to tear one Marlar pontification into a million pieces.
