There's far too much to read there. I got as far as the bit about Collingwood scoring 515 off 392 balls and decided it was time for bed.

KP Pietersen b Warne 2 8 5 0 0 40.00
33.1 GOT HIM! What a ripper from Warne, pitching on leg and Pietersen tries to sweep...and it clips off stump. Massive, ripping, gripping legbreak. Warne roars his delight at Pietersen who marches off and England are now in a hole 73/4

... the point at which 1:1 turned towards 5:0

Perth averaged a max temp of 29.6 for November ...one of the highest aves ever

The Wozzies seconds played the Dubber seconds on the WACA two weeks ago and on day two a crack a half inch wide opened up the length of the pitch from middle dtump to middle stump ...

Of course, you can't deduce anything about the pitch from Shield matches there, mainly because the Barrels are usually crap.

Was Les Burdett sacked for producing too many roads? He was one of the most overrated groundsmen going around.
