Umpire Rankings in light of Review System
Expect this has been discussed before- sorry, couldn't be bothered to check. Still, here goes anyway...
Surely one of the massive benefits of the review system is that at last it will give us an indisputable way of ranking the umpires. Once enough tests have been played with the review rules in place we will get stats showing which umpires regularly have their decisions overturned, and which are the most reliable. Then, no matter how they argue or try to "add to the game" with their endearing personalities, pretentious unorhodox signals etc, the worst offenders will simply cease to be employed for international games. And the best ones will get the employment and plaudits they deserve.

Yes, should be clear who the duffers are. Tony Hill, don't look towards the top of the list...

Re: Umpire Rankings in light of Review System
Doctrove and Hill have been embarrassed by the DRS.
I still reckon Taufel is the best Umpire going around, followed by Ian Gould and Aleem Dar. Erasmus from South Africa looks ok as well.
I've never rated Bowden, and Asad Rauf veers between being excellent and very poor.
And has Darryl Harper finally been sacked? Haven't seen him Umpire a game for several months now.
