Re: Australian State Cricket 2010/11 (II)
Don't get me wong, the Barrels deserved to win the match and series and they've shown a tactical nouse in how to approach a T20 match with the ball which I think the IPL teams will look closely at.
But the main game is the Champs League.

Well, this takes the cake for a stupid qunt of a post. Erm, if you care to look, you withered old pile of dribble and colostomy bag leakage, I heartily congratulated the Barrels immediately after the game. Were you here? No. Has there been any State cricket since? No. Has horrie got sawdust for brains? Farkin oath. I even acknowledged the Vomit Velvets on their win.horace wrote:so Bart failed in the final just like his fellow spivs...instant disappearnace from this thread by jgk, woody, blackadder and skully...
well done by the Redbacks who may have dispensed with the jellyback nickname
Must try harder, h. A p!ss weak effort, even for you.

The barrels having almost all their players available (ie not good enough for national duty) was a help, too.JGK wrote:Don't get me wong, the Barrels deserved to win the match and series and they've shown a tactical nouse in how to approach a T20 match with the ball which I think the IPL teams will look closely at.

The caring and sharing Spivs felt sorry for the deadbacks after not having any success for 15 years, so after fielding a Third string team with a place in the CL secured, gave the barrel boys something to celebrate.
Meanwhile the Vomits with a predominatly first choice line up were no where to be seen come finals time.

with the jellies and spivs dominating the domestic scene the future of Oz cricket is clearly assured

Re: Australian State Cricket 2010/11 (II)
With due deference to the above post Tas plays Vics (1st v 2nd) in the Ryobi today.
With national selections & injuries, its going to be hard for Tassie to maintain their dominance in this comp.
Looks like Tassie will be forced to play up to three rookies today which includes a non contract club player, Nick Kruger.

Horses for courses....he does'nt need to bowl flat out. I think he'll settle for 3 per over.
Re: Australian State Cricket 2010/11 (II)
The Tiger Cubs seem to be going ok at the moment. 2/80 in the first dig compared to the Vixen 3/55 into the 18th over.
Re: Australian State Cricket 2010/11 (II)
First time i've seen (or heard of) Kruger. He looks like a Cossie clone. Picked up McDonald in his first over though
Re: Australian State Cricket 2010/11 (II)
Tassie going at just under 5 per over. Tassie 2/149
Cossie 93

Not much of a Cossie clone then. Everyone knows Cossie would have picked up McDonald's in his first over.Big Dog wrote:First time i've seen (or heard of) Kruger. He looks like a Cossie clone. Picked up McDonald in his first over though

Re: Australian State Cricket 2010/11 (II)
Tassie were always going to struggle to contain the run rate in the last ten without X or Krazy. They still should have held out though.
Perhaps the best name for the new T20 team should be the Tassie meringues.
