Very impressed with Cummins today. He bowled good line & length & with reasonable pace until late in the day. Without doubt he has a big future if handled well however it was obvious that NSW were a bowler short so i don't think bowling an inexperienced 17 y.o. to a near standstill will do much for his future. 41 overs as well as Copelands 50 overs can't be doing too much for their health & temperament.

Perth Scorchers and Adelaide Strikers are apparently official for the 20/20 crap next season

Matty Johnston and David Bandy last night tied for the Olly Cooley Medal (F&B in WACA 1st Grade) just a week after they bost lost their Warriors contracts
Both were second time winners
and they play against each other in the Grand Final this weekend
Craig Simmonds finished third by 1 vote ...he was leading by 2 going into the last game and Jonno and Coot both got threes
Brad Hogg came in at 5/100 on the weekend and made 144 for Willeton to get them into the GF

embee, heard anything about Shaun Marsh moving to Brisbane? At least for the t20 shite? On wikipedia's BBL page (link) it says:
which I found interesting because I thought the allocation of players hadn't been done yet.The Brisbane team will be known as the Brisbane Heat and play in mainly yellow, redy orange and maroon. Their home ground will be The Gabba. Their captain will be Shaun Marsh.

Straight off the Bushrangers facebook page:
Just announced: new Melbourne Big Bash League teams are the Melbourne Stars and the Melbourne Renegades. The Melbourne Stars will wear green and play at the MCG, the Melbourne Renegades will wear red and play at Etihad.

Hobart Hurricanes has been confirmed in todays paper. Bound to cause some confusion as there was a SEABL womens basketball team also called the Hobart Hurricanes.
At least they did'nt go for Hobart Pride...that would have been really gay.
