Re: Australian State Cricket 2010/11 (II)
Aye...Wrighty was a credit to the game. Gave nothing less that 100% every time. Unfortunate Australias bowling stocks were so strong when he was in his prime otherwise he would have done better than just an Aust A appearance.
Re: Australian State Cricket 2010/11 (II)
sniff ... he formed a formidable opening partnership with Adam Griffith, and occasionally with Denton or Downton; allowing Hilfenhaus (and Geeves) to develop in their shadows. Tasmania has become a production line for quick bowlers who can actually move the ball; and Wright had a fair bit to do with that.
Butterworth, Faulkner, and Maher are the new generation, and have all had outstanding seasons.

Did I mention we are so screwed? I will be sincerely congratulating lardy and BD (and bizarrely horrie) probably about 2 days into the match. I could probably safely start now, actually.

You will be doing no such thing. You've got four Australian players in your top 5, for starters. The match is a contest between a good bowling side and a good batting side.

Your woofing is becoming a little obvious. :laule:
Curator says he has produced a normal wicket for Bellerive & definately will not be a road.

D'oh...Dubbers 3/300..bad call George. Looks like a draw will be the only way we will get our hands on the silverware.

Although if Bailey had caught Con on 48 it might be all a bit different.
