What, shoey as well?
Come on paraphrase the gist of the thread and the gist of their respective flounces.
Fill me in, go on, do it, fill me in.
Don't punish me for pissing on my laptop.

Not sure Rob flounced much, just disappeared and asked for his ID to be deleted.
He can now be found being all fluffy at PakPassion, moaning that things aren't what they used to be like back in the day.

Shoey's was probably the most dignified, just stopped posting.
But with Rob, you can't say that asking for your ID to be deleted so everyone sees your posts appear as "Guest" isn't the most monumental of all flounces.

Re: The official DJ Smerk memorial thread
Indeed, JKL kindly bumped the thread which I sent you where I throw my toys out... Which was good of him.

Sounds like a flounce to me.
And IIRC you went all PC and demanded to be removed as an Elder.

If you consider going into my profile and clicking a button to remove myself as an 'elder' going all PC and demanding things. Don't think I even said a word that i'd done it tbh.

I seem to recall some discussion about it, but I could be wrong.

Can't say I really knew him that well on here, but it appears that may be a good thing from the sounds of it hehe.G.Wood wrote:vilkrang wrote:.

Two sides, which to choose....
I think I'll say he was alright, but punch him if I ever meet him. Should appease everyone.

Re: The official DJ Smerk memorial thread
He had a hang up about Aussies, and a hankering for flowery forumming of 2003. Apart from that he was sound as a pound.

Re: The official DJ Smerk memorial thread
Rob I was a decent human being, yes.
But he was also a self-righteous, supercillious, pretentious tosser who would decry the lack of intellectuality on here whilst conversely being as facetious a troll as one can be and most times he actually got intelligent conversation, he'd not particularly cover himself in glory,

Re: The official DJ Smerk memorial thread
RobI was clearly up himself if he let anything that was said on here make him flounce.

Funnily enough I never had a problem with him on C4. It was only when we got here and his mates disappeared that he started getting up himself.

Re: The official DJ Smerk memorial thread
Was his really that much of a flounce though? Hmmm, I think the term 'flounce' is probably misused. When I coined it for the departure of a forummer, it was usually because whichever forummer it was would leave a bleeding-heart-woe-is-me style new thread, telling us all how wonderful their intentions were and how we're all just Satan's little droppings. Not many would dream of doing that now, I expect that Rob's could not be called a flounce as his departure was, it seems, only highlighted by the deletion of his account, hence his username & posts turning to guest or whatever. Although, I suppose it's close to a flounce.
