Morgan's absence also means a weakened batting order for the final ODI against Australia with the likelihood that Michael Yardy will have to bat at No. 6 and Luke Wright at seven.

It's all getting a bit farcical. I'd love to see Flower dust off his kit and get an ODI cap for England.

England could always play Steve Davies at six as a specialist batsman. Athough that obvious has the potential to embarrass them if he makes a score while Prior continues to stink out the joint...

Actually that's what they should do, its a nonsense to pick Yardy in an ODI at 6

They've shown by not picking Wright & Tredwell for most of the series and prefering bowlers who aren't going to the world cup ahead of them that they do pick the side not just with the upcoming tournament in mind.
