Re: BD v Aus, 3rd ODI, Dhaka, April 13, 2011
Just looking at the scorecard & realised Australia has another "son" playing as a pace bowler in international cricket. At the moment the wickets have been taken by Johnson, Watson & Pattinson while in years gone by we had Davidson, Lawson, L.Johnson, Wilson, Nicholson & a couple of Thomsons.
It's amazing how many pace bowlers had names that either ended in son or man or started with Mc.
Sorry, that is a ridiculous discussion point. It's late & I haven't taken my medication.
Sorry
Apologies

It's amazing how Ponting already looks 10 years younger just two weeks after giving up the captaincy.

All the need now is a boundary of each ball and a few sixes and they are home

Second highest score by Bangladesh versus a top-8 side (the highest being the 296 they scored v India in the WC.)
Four wickets left in the tank: As in the first match, it's easy to feel they could have got closer. If they'd brought Mortaza up to have it hit, it might have bombed, but he might have got 30 off 12.

Other than Watto's heroics and tidy knocks from Pup and Paris, Nath's point is the only notable thing to come out of this series.Nath wrote:Can't bowl out Bangladesh. What a crap bowling unit.

and now Dubber Smithy is having minor ankle surgery and missing the IPL. Should have not picked him in the first place and played someone else.

Hmm, did the idiot NSP know about this niggle? A niggly back was enough for them to flick the tidy D'oh for the useless Krazy in the WC.

Bring back Warney.
He could bat at 11, field at first slip (with his cellphone), and captain the side.
