Re: Pura Cup 2007/2008 (II)
More runs for Ginger - it'd be better if he was scoring faster (50 to Langer's 80) but I suppose it's time in the middle that he needs more than anything.
If he isn't the alternative to Hayden. as far as I can see there ain't one.

I blame CA. Taking him on two tours & not giving him a bloody game.
Re: Pura Cup 2007/2008 (II)
You should blame the Tozzie curator for producing roads instead of the green seamers he trotted out all last season.

one of the commentators during a break was talking about preparing wickets with 'bounce' before Indian tour.
I think that is absolutely impossible from what I see around.

Wozzie coach and players not happy with Dan Marsh not making a game of it when the Tozzies batted ...perhaps they should have bowled better

Re: Pura Cup 2007/2008 (II)
George Bailey likes a bit of a practical joke apparently .
Tim McDonald told a couple of stories about him on the radio yesterday ....
After last years Wozzie vs Tozzie game in which Pombasher debuted and was MOTM Pombasher was interviewed by a Perth radio station (6PR) and gave a good 5 minute interview ...only problem was that Bailey had picked up the phone when it rang and said he was Pombasher ...
He also apparently left a box of donuts in Dan Marsh's locker at the SCG this year ....Marsh hasn't scored a run in his last 5 innings there .

NLWL goes past 26000 FC runs - now less than 2000 behind DGB and only a couple of hundred behnd SLaw in the race to DGB's record.

A couple more years in County cricket should help him over the line.
