Much truth there Horrie.
While the rain is a godsend I'm not sure that the Bulls will be as envigorated as our farmers and gardners. Can see us battling with the Barrels for last place over the medium term.

retrograde wusses need 170 odd to win with roughly a session left...they have 7 wickets left...but in bad news for the wusses, the light is deteriorating and the useless crab Ginga is still in

There are 20 overs to go and 131 runs needed, 5 wickets left. Anyone's game really.

Rogers just got Laycocked. Only 4 wickets left & two of those are Inness & Edmondson who both have no idea which end of the bat to hold.

Simpson now has 3/52.
Before this game he had taken 2/540 in the 2007/08 Pura Cup season.
Ronchi out now!

Simpson is there for his batting these days. He's our second highest run-scorer this season.
I'd like to know why Grant Sullivan keeps getting selected. His figures this match are 5/0/41/0 & 4/0/28/0.
.......... and Kaspa gets Dorey. Would be good to see him finish his Pura Cup career with a win & a swag of wickets.

I wouldn't mind if he retired. He's 37yo & there must be a good chance that he won't be able to perform at his previous standard if he comes back. It's time to move on, I think.
Meanwhile Kaspa has another wicket.

I'm not a fan of sportsmen continuing to play past their use-by date. It has happened too often in the past, Horrie.

........ and Mabo had better retire as well. He's definitely a light of former years.
Should have quit at the start of this season.

Far canal. I knew Edmondson would hold us up after I bagged his batting ability. FFS He comes in after Inness! And these two are both former Queenslanders. Where is their loyalty?

Kaspa starts his final over in PC cricket. I bet Eddo & McMuffin idolised him when they were youngsters. 'twould be a decent gesture if they allowed him to get a wicket with his last delivery.

today - the traditional rivals go head to head in a precursor to the final (follwing the wusses abject failure yesterday)...dubbers missing bung the kid and assorted other overrated spivs...Vix missing nannes, harwood and several others from ther best team...should be a great game if the spiv weather does the right thing for a change
